Adelaide’s premier open mic comedy night! Watch a mix of established and new comedians trying out new material at the Laugh Lab! Each week we hand-pick some of the best local comedians, with open mic spots drawn on the night. With new material and fresh faces, you’re guaranteed to see something new each week! Doors/open mic sign-up 7pm, 7.30pm start.
Connor Burns – GALLUS
GALLUS is Connor Burn’s fourth solo hour. A prolific joke writer who’s lightning fast, razor- sharp wit combines with his signature single malt Scottish-level cynicism to help create the perfect storm of brilliant jokes performed by a disarming comedy powerhouse and, now more recently, has seen Connor become a social media star.
Connor’s previous smash-hit show “1994” sold 10,000+ tickets in Edinburgh, sold out 2 solo Glasgow King’s Theatre dates and toured worldwide (including 50+ UK shows, 35+ in Australia, 15 shows across Europe and included an off-Broadway run as part of 2024’s New York Comedy Festival). Winner of the prestigious international Fringe Encore Series in both 2025 and 2024, Connor has supported Daniel Sloss in 3 continents and filmed his debut special “Vertigo”, for world-wide release on the prestigious 800LB Gorilla comedy label.

You’ll know Tom from New Zealand Taskmaster, Wellington Paranormal and his weirdly accurate social-media sketches – the ones that make you go, “Oh no… that’s me.” Whether he’s being a nosy neighbour, an overbearing boss or one of his iconic 80s mums, Tom dives headfirst into the gloriously awkward bits of everyday life.
Expect dodgy decisions, small-town scandals, misguided confidence and a few emotional breakthroughs (maybe). It’s part stand-up, part therapy session, and part fever dream of all the things Tom should have learnt by now.
So grab your mates, your mum, or that friend who never learns from their mistakes, and prepare for a night of laughter, nostalgia and light self-loathing – in the best possible way.
REWIND – DRUM ‘N’ BASS
Bringing back the old school, the first edition of REWIND was as much dusting off the classics as icelebrating the new school. After a cracking opening night, The Redline Dubstars and tOASt are wheeling it back again to get some OGs in for a mix alongside the Now-school and fostering the rising talent*.
Adelaide’s bass-music radio show The Bassbin (Fresh 92.7FM) has also turned 18 years old! It played a crucial role supporting the emerging local dubstep scene and is now the LONGEST running bass music radio show in Australia – something worth celebrating.
Expect old school dubstep, breakstep, UKG and future garage ridiculousness alongside the newest cutting edge bass flavours – and of course we’re bringing in EXTRA SUBS for that low-end bass weight to feel in your chest – all back in the delicious Low Life BASSment bar.
