Located to the east of Adelaide’s CBD Rhino Room has two popular spaces to celebrate a birthday or host a special event, corporate function, fundraiser, staff party or product launch.
Our venue is split over two levels including much loved main area Rhino Room up on level 1 accessed from Pirie Street or Lowlife our bar in the basement where you enter from Hyde Street under the vines.
The layout of our event spaces allows for a huge range of function options and our professional, friendly staff enjoy making each unique event a success.
Having managed events for over 25 years, we’ve seen it all and can adapt for functions of all sizes from outrageous parties to more intimate soirees so contact us with your event vision and we’ll present advice and tailored information to suit your requirements.

Indicative Rates
Due to the ever-changing nature of Covid-19 restrictions our capacity will fluctuate and reflect government regulations. Indicative capacity details are listed below but we recommend contacting us directly for current information.
Rhino Room Level 1: Pre Covid = 200 capacity
Lowlife Basement: Pre Covid = 170 capacity
Indicative Rates
Option 1
We offer free room hire of either Rhino Room on level 1 or Lowlife in the basement with a minimum bar tab of $1,800. Bar tabs can be used to offer guests complimentary or subsidised drinks. The minimum bar tab is to be paid prior to the event and exhausted or forfeited on the night as we do not offer credits or refunds on bar tabs.
Option 2
We can offer a reduced minimum bar tab with a small room hire fee.
We are happy to be flexible and chat about each event on a case-by-case basis. Events held on weeknights may attract reduced rates.
